Equimech 360 (E-360) is a Rider-Saddle-Horse Assessment developed in collaboration with Ergox2 and VBR, Sweden. This comprehensive protocol evaluates the rider, saddle, and horse as an interconnected triad—each influencing the others in a continuous, 360-degree cycle. A dysfunction in any one element can negatively affect the others, compromising not only performance but also the welfare of the horse.
The E-360 Assessment consists of six key elements, each reviewed for compliance with protocol standards, as far as can be reasonably determined through non-intrusive visual inspection, testing and measurement.
Saddle fittings proceed only if both horse and rider meet minimum readiness standards. Feedback and referral to relevant professionals (e.g., vet, physio, coach) may be provided.
Equimech reserves the right to delay or withhold saddle fittings until readiness is achieved.
Saddle fittings are carried out using Ergox2 and VBR’s fitting protocol.
Saddle trials and sales proceed only when horse and rider meet readiness requirements as defined in the Equimech 360 process.
Saddles are custom-fit and intended for the specific horse-rider combination assessed. Using the saddle on any other horse or rider without approval may void the warranty.
All warranty terms are subject to the conditions of normal, non-professional use as per the manufacturer:
Used on 1–2 fitted horses in normal weather
Worn with smooth boots/chaps and soft stirrup leathers
Follow all cleaning instructions (conditioning required).
Saddle must be stored properly and protected from damage.
Inspected annually by an approved fitter
Tree and panels maintained by an authorised serviceperson
Not used post-accident or outside recommended conditions
2 years craftsmanship
5 years tree subject to conditions above. Improper use voids warranty.
Custom or made-to-order items (e.g. Ergox2 saddles) are non-refundable unless faulty or not as specified.
Off-the-shelf products may be returned within 14 days if unused and in original condition.
Services must be paid in full by the time of delivery unless otherwise agreed.
Saddle orders typically require a 50% deposit; remaining balance due upon delivery or fitting.
Payment methods include BACS
Failure to pay within 7 days of due date may result in service suspension.
For services 1–3, 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule.
For Equimech 360 and saddle fittings, 48 hours’ notice is required.
Late cancellations may incur a charge up to the full session fee.
Equimech reserves the right to cancel services or orders due to non-payment, lack of readiness for fitting, or unforeseen circumstances.
Equimech is not responsible for injuries or issues resulting from failure to follow professional advice, incorrect saddle use, or misuse of equipment.
